TOP FIVE BOOKS ON 3D ANALYTICAL GEOMETRY

Although there are hundreds of books on three dimensional co-ordinate geometry in Indian book market but after carrying out a detailed survey I have made my choices of Top Five Books on 3D geometry as given below:
(1) 3D Co-ordinate Geometry by P.N. Chattarji
The book is undoubtedly one of the best books on 3D Co-ordinate Geometry.Though the book is very old and I am not sure it is being printed now or not but still stands as one of the most useful books on the subject. It is generally available in most of the college libraries.
Main features of the book are :
1. Its comprehensive language and easy way of explanations.
2. Organization of the chapters is amazing as appropriate as it could be.
3. A plenty of solved examples which are very helpful to understand the concepts very well.
4. Ample amount of unsolved exercises based on each topic.

(2) Analytical Solid Geometry by Shanti Narayan
This book is also very nice as far as the clarity of the concepts is concerned but it provide small number of solved examples as compared to the first book. Number of unsolved exercises are also limited. Thus if you study this book for learning 3D Geometry ,  you need a supplementary book for sake of practice. Though it has small number of solved and unsolved problems as compared to 3D Co-ordinate Geometry by P.N. Chattarji but has an edge and that is its proof reading. I mean it has no printing mistake at all.

(3) Analytical Geometry of two and three Dimensions and Vector Analysis by Ratan Mohan Khan
This is an also an awesome book on 2D and 3D Co-ordinate Geometry. The book covers both two dimensional and three dimensional geometry but we have to discuss here only the portion of 3D geometry. Undoubtedly the portion of 3D co-ordinate geometry is very nicely organized in this book too and the language is very easy to understand so I personally like the book very much and highly recommend to all who want to purchase a nice book on the subject.

(4) Analytical Geometry of Three Dimensions by D.M.Y. Sommerville
This is also one of the best books on the subject though it is written in much greater details as compared to the three books we have already discussed. So if someone wants to grasp the subject in more depth, he/she should go with this. One more important thing I would like to clear here about the book is that it has a little bit tough language as compared to the three books discussed above but if your English is pretty good, you will definitely like it.

(5) Teach Yourself : Analytical Geometry of 3D. by Prasad, Surya and Bhushan
The book is as simple as a book could be as evident by the title itself. It’s really an amazing  and an awesome  book on 3D Analytical Geometry!!!!!  Language is extremely comprehensive and simple and nicely organized. It consists of all the important concepts which are nicely explained, a great number of solved examples and unsolved exercises to practice. I have gone through the whole so unable to make any judgments about the printing mistakes at  the moment but after completion of the book I will definitely give my further feedback about it.

P.S. The sequence of the books is not according to their usefulness but random because it is really impossible to say which of these is the best because goodness of a book depends on the perspective and purpose of the study. My objective was only to help people who want to know about a nice book on three dimensional co-ordinate geometry so now you better decide it yourself that which one of these books is the best for you.
